I’m a second-year master’s student at the MIT Media Lab and a fellow at Draper Labotories. I like to think about AI, biology, and policy for emerging technologies. I plan to occasionally write about it here.

Timeline

September 2024: Simon Grimm and I present our air sampling work at the BSL4ZNet Conference

May 2024: Our paper on the WMDP benchmark is accepted at ICML.

May 2024: Our preprint on indoor air sampling for viral nucleic acids is released.

May 2024: Accepted to the 2024-25 class of the Fellowship for Ending Bioweapons organized by The Council on Strategic Risks.

November 2023: Our paper on far-UVC skin and eye safety is published in Photochemistry and Photobiology.

September 2023: Start my master’s at the MIT Media Lab advised by Kevin Esvelt.

March 2023: Accepted to the Draper Scholars program.

August 2022: Graduate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bsc in physics and political science.

June 2022: Start as a research assistant at the MIT Media Lab in the Sculpting Evolution group.
